Luis Diaz rescued a point for Liverpool against Crystal Palace after new summer signing Darwin Nunez was sent off.
Liverpool dominated possession in the first half but it was Palace who went ahead Wilfried Zaha's superb finish from Eberechi Eze's precise pass.
Nunez was desperate to impress the Anfield crowd, but his passion went overboard when he reacted to a shove from Joachim Andersen with a headbutt on the Palace defender.
But Liverpool did not shirk the challenge as Diaz scored a brilliant equaliser just four minutes after the red-card.
Jurgen Klopp's men surged forward in search of a winner as Mohamed Salah and Fabio Carvalho went close.
Zaha had a chance to win it for Palace but his shot struck the far post when he should have scored.
Liverpool have now drawn their opening two games, while Palace will walk away from Merseyside delighted with their first point of the season.
