The father of Robinho expects him to remain with AC Milan beyond the January transfer window.

Gilvan de Souza has cooled speculation over his son's future by stating that he must respect his contract with the Serie A giants, which is not due to expire for another two years.

He told Marca Brazil: "Flamengo are another club who have been saying Robinho wants to join them.

"Gremio, Atletico Mineiro, Sao Paulo, Santos and now Flamengo have all spoken about the player, but it's all speculation.

"He has a contract with Milan until 2014."
