Alan Curbishley has told Sheffield Wednesday fans to embrace the prospect of Eggert Magnusson getting involved in the club.
The former West Ham chairman is fronting a consortium to takeover the League One Side.
Curbishley was appointed at Upton Park by the Icelandic business back in 2006 before Magnusson departed the following year.
And the former Charlton and West Ham manager told the Mirror: "He would be good for Sheffield Wednesday - he would be full on and enthusiastic. Whoever the manager is, he will get on alright with him. You have got to be prepared that he will have his say on performances because he does know a little bit about football but what is wrong with that.
"Sheffield Wednesday need someone to go in there.
He loves football and he is so enthusiastic and the West Ham fans understood that. He wants to do well and has got a lot of energy. Too much energy sometimes because he doesn't stop!"
