CSKA Moscow comms chief Kirill Breido says a deal for Jesse Lingard is now unlikely.

The former England midfielder is a free agent after coming off contract at Nottingham Forest.

Agents have offered Lingard to CSKA, but Breido says a deal is now unlikely.

He told TASS: “Will Jesse Lingard end up in CSKA? Hardly. Perhaps this issue can be considered closed."

Last season at Forest, former Manchester United midfielder Lingard made 20 appearances in all competitions, scoring 2 goals and providing 2 assists.
