Arsenal are considering hiring Bayern Munich manager Pep Guardiola as a replacement for Arsene Wenger when the Frenchman's Gunners contract expires in 2017, according to the Daily Mail.
Guardiola has been the subject of interest from a number of high-profile Premier League clubs, with Manchester City, Manchester United and Chelsea all having been linked with former Barcelona boss.
The Spaniard's contract with the German champions expires at the end of the current season, but the Daily Mail is reporting Guardiola may take a year-long sabbatical or re-sign with Bayern for another season, before joining Arsenal for the following campaign.
Guardiola is understood to be an avid admirer of the style of football employed by the Gunners.
