Francis Coquelin has hit the training pitch at Villarreal.

It's been nine months since the midfielder suffered an ACL injury. But he was back on Villarreal's training pitches on Tuesday.

Afterwards, Coquelin said: "Almost 250 days later, stepping on the field with my teammates, eager to help the team to give you joy, groguets.

"Thank you for all the support received. More than ever."

Coquelin has a deal with Villarreal to June.
