"From what I've seen I've been very impressed. It was my first session today and the boys are a great bunch of lads and I'm really looking forward to the start of the season, Reid said.

"I know a few of the guys from when I was at Wollongong and you can only tell by the performance in the Asian Champions League what a good squad Adelaide has."

The 29 year old added, "When I met Michael (Petrillo) and Aurelio (Vidmar) in London, they really sold the club to me. I couldn't believe how professional they were about things and how ambitious they were so to come to a club like that, it's very impressive and I'm more than happy to be here."
