FIGC president Giancarlo Abete is confident Italy coach Roberto Donadoni's new contract will be settled this month.

"We met Donadoni and we will meet him again in Rome," revealed Abete. "On Wednesday I will see him because there is a workshop in Vienna in preparation for Euro 2008.

"That will be an occasion to make a judgment. It is a problem we cannot allow to drag on until May.

"When will we conclude our discussions? We will look to clarify everything before Italy's match with Spain."
