West Brom defender Neil Clement says fans shouldn't be concerned over the departures of Zoltan Gera and Kevin Phillips this summer.

"Zolly and Kev were good players but football keeps going and people come and go," Clement told West Brom's website. "They were two good players and they will be missed but the manager and chairman know what they're doing.

"I just leave it to them to do what they've got to do.

"Last summer, Joe (Kamara) and Jason (Koumas) left while Curtis (Davies) went out on loan.

"They were three good players but new signings came in and we won the league, which we haven't done in years.

"You've got to go with what the manager and chairman want to do."
