Birmingham City boss Steve Bruce admits he's in the dark over Carson Yeung's takeover plans.

"Until he takes over, I won't be sidetracked from anything else at the minute," Bruce vowed. "I will just get on with it.

"I presume he's going to take over. I wouldn't have thought he'd hand 15 million quid over for 29.9 per cent of the shares if he wasn't, would you? Once that happens, obviously then I will sit down and ask the relevant questions, how exactly he sees the way forward for the club."

Bruce has been locked in talks with the board to secure funding for up to two new players. A central midfielder is a priority.
