Colombian billionaire Santo Domingo joins Broughton group seeking to buy Chelsea

Colombian businessman Alejandro Santo Domingo is part of Sir Martin Broughton's consortium seeking to buy Chelsea.

Sky Sports says billionaire Domingo, son of the tycoon Julio Mario Santo Domingo, has joined the group.

Currently, he is part of the board of directors of AB InBev, also known as Anheuser-Busch and which has an entire brewing empire around the world. He reached this point after the sale of the Colombian company Bavaria to SABMiller in 2005 and the subsequent purchase of the latter by AB InBev in 2016.

In addition, he has other great assets in the media in Colombia.

Santo Domingo would join the group together with other entrepreneurs such as the Indian Vivek Ranadive and the Americans Josh Harris and Dave Blitzer.
