Tom Cleverley is set to sign a new deal with Manchester United today.
The Manchester Evening News says Cleverley will sign a new three-year Old Trafford contract today.
The Reds' England Under-21 youngster has been rewarded with the new deal after impressing on loan at Watford last season in the Championship.
But having signed the agreement the 20-year-old is set to be farmed out in the coming season to a Premier League club in order to continue his education.
Newcastle United are understood to have confirmed their interest and the newly promoted Magpies are favourites to land the Basingstoke-born player for 12 months.
