Manchester United midfielder Tom Cleverley was happy with his recall for their win over Norwich City.
The homegrown midfielder had been out of the side since being replaced at half-time in the Manchester derby.
"When someone you've played with for three or four years goes on to be manager, it's a strange situation," he told MUTV. "It's nice he put me straight in and the lads did really well with a good, attacking display that we have got to build on this weekend."
"I was happy to be in his first starting XI. Hopefully, I can build on that in the last three games and really build up my confidence and get my sharpness back."
