Samu Chukwueze admits Napoli striker Victor Osimhen helped convince him about moving to AC Milan.

Chukwueze left Villarreal for Milan over the summer and says he spoke to Nigeria teammate Osimhen about playing in Italy.

He said, “I spoke with Victor (Osimhen), who has been in Italy for a few years. He told me to come, and that Milan is a good club.

"In the summer the fans wrote to me everywhere 'Milan, Milan, Milan'. When the fans want you so much, when they say they need you then you think about it seriously. They were so happy to see me.

"The fans wanted me, but obviously the coach was also important, who made me understand that I was wanted. The coach called me to convince me. There was a balance between the two, I felt wanted.

"When I arrived and there were fans at the airport too it was fantastic. They followed me everywhere when I had to do medical visits, they were always there for me."
