Chivas USA have signed Brazilian striker Maicon Santos. Chivas USA have acquired 25-year-old Maicon on loan from Bonsucesso Futebol Clube of Brazil, the Major League Soccer club announced on Friday.

"Maicon is a strong forward who can give us a spark in the attacking third," Chivas USA coach Preki said. "He's been training with us for a couple weeks and we're looking forward to having him on the roster."

Santos has received his paperwork and is eligible for MLS action this weekend.

Chivas USA also announced on Friday that midfielder Kevin Harmse was added to the Disabled List with right knee tendonitis.
