Burnley star Steven Defour has cast a huge doubt over his long-term future at Turf Moor.

The Clarets splashed around £7.4million to secure the services of Defour from Anderlecht over the summer and it has to be said that the Belgian international has performed exceedingly well for the Lancashire clubso far.

Despite being only six months into his stay at Burnley though, Defour has made an admission which is certain to worry the Clarets' faithful by stating that he would be open to a move away from Turf Moor if a big offer from China or from a top Premier League team comes along in the future.

He replied when asked about his future with the Clarets: "I don't know.

"I can't say I'm staying here forever and then there is a big opportunity if it's in China or elsewhere or even in England.

"If there's a big proposal somewhere which would be good for the club and for me then we should think about it. At this moment, there's nothing on it."
