Chievo Verona are moving for Hull City striker Abel Hernandez.
The Uruguay international is available after Hull's relegation last season.
Calciomercato.it says the Flying Donkeys are stepping up talks with Hull City and closing on a deal.
It would be an initial loan for €750,000 with an option to buy at the end of the season for €8m (£5.6m).
