Chelsea winger Victor Moses admits Danny Sturridge had a big say in his decision to join Liverpool on-loan.
Sturridge was in a similar situation at Chelsea before completing a transfer worth in excess of £15m to Liverpool in January and has thrived since, scoring 16 goals in 20 games.
Moses admits it played a major part in his decision and said: "I spoke to Sturridge and he wanted me to come here. He said I'd love it here but he didn't need to say much. The next morning, I had a word with my agent and told him it could be the right move for me. It's a massive club with great history. The club are doing well, so I wanted to come here and enjoy my football.
"Daniel is a great player and at the moment is probably the best striker in the Premier League. The most important thing as a player; to enjoy yourself. Daniel's certainly doing that at the moment. Not playing games can really damage your career."
