Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho is moving to trump Southampton for Toby Alderweireld. Alderweireld has spent the season on-loan from Atletico Madrid at Saints.
Mourinho hopes to use Atletico's interest in Filipe Luis as bait to land the Belgian.
Chelsea rate Luis at €17 million, but are willing to consider a swap involving Alderweireld.
Joao Miranda has also been mentioned in a Blues deal.
