Chelsea are ready to step up interest in Gambia striker Adama Bojang.

The 18-year-old has enjoyed an impressive start to the FIFA U20 World Cup this month in Argentina.

He scored within 30 seconds of Gambia's 2-1 win against Honduras on Monday, also scoring the second goal.

Per The Mail, the 6ft3in striker is impressing scouts throughout Europe at present.

Chelsea may see him as the ideal man to bring in as part of their young squad, especially if Mauricio Pochettino is the new coach.

Bojang has also been prolific for his club Steve Biko FC, but whether he can step up to the Premier League is another matter.
