Chelsea's Fernando Torres says Spain's clash with USA this weekend should be a fixture in which his side target a very strong performance.
The World Cup winners meet Bob Bradley's US outfit in Massachusetts on Saturday in a friendly but Torres feels that the Spaniards should be aiming for more than just a run-out which friendlies are often reserved for.
"You have to face these matches like they were in any other month of the season," said Torres.
"What we have to demand from ourselves is to turn these friendlies into official matches."
Torres will be hoping to get his goalscoring knack back at Gillette Stadium after experiencing a tough start to his career with Chelsea which yielded him just one goal in 18 matches after crossing from Liverpool.
