Chelsea striker Armando Broja is joining the U21 squad for preseason training today.
Broja has recovered from midseason knee surgery and will take part in a preseason camp in Portugal with the U21s, says the London Evening Standard.
The Albania international aims to be fit for the start of senior preseason training on July 4 under new manager Mauricio Pochettino.
Pochettino and his staff will begin work on July 1, with the players to hit the pitch three days later.
Broja will initially be eased back into action but can realistically expect to be in the first-team picture for the start of the season.
He recently spent time with the Albania squad in Tirana, watching a 2-0 win over Moldova at the Air Albania Stadium.
