Chelsea striker Nicolas Jackson has recalled clashing with a fan earlier this season.

In the 2-0 defeat to Brentford last month, Jackson ended up in an altercation with a Chelsea fan.

"I have to apologise to the fan," said the striker to the Telegraph. "I have never experienced this before. At Villarreal you play without so much pressure because it's a different team, but I know it comes from a good place.

"Normally I don't talk to fans or get distracted by what they say. I don't know what happened to me. It must have been frustration.

"I was at Villarreal, but it was a different environment. You don't have that kind of thing there. In Chelsea it is different."
