Premier League giants Chelsea will try to renew the contract of a key homegrown midfielder.
The club are planning talks with Conor Gallagher about a new deal to ensure his future remains at Stamford Bridge.
Gallagher was one of many names linked with an exit from the club in the summer, even as the window was nearing its conclusion.
However, he has remained and impressed boss Mauricio Pochettino, who sees a use for him.
Per The Mail, he will now hold talks with the Blues as he gets into the final 18 months of his existing deal.
Gallagher, who is only 23, wants to remain at the club where he came through the academy.
