Chelsea are planning to buy back Nathan Ake from Bournemouth.

The Daily Express says Chelsea are looking to invoke a £40m buy-back clause in the deal that took central defender Ake to Bournemouth.

Ake, 23, joined Chelsea as a 16-year-old, and had multiple loan spells before eventually leaving on a permanent basis in 2017.

Also on their January shopping list is £50m-rated Brazilian wing-back Alex Sandro, 27, from Juventus.

And they are on the verge of winning the £70m-race to land winger Christian Pulisic, 20, from Borussia Dortmund.

Maurizio Sarri may also return to his former club Napoli and pay £50m for right-back Elseid Hysaj, 24.
