Chelsea have emerged as favourites to sign Turkish star Arda Turan, according to reports.

Turan is keen to leave Atletico Madrid this summer, with the La Liga giants resigned to losing the 28-year old, who was a key player in their Championship winning team in 2013/14.

Barcelona and Chelsea have made bids with the Blues thought to have tabled an offer in the region of £29million while Manchester United have also been heavily linked.

The Daily Mail is reporting that Turan favours a move to London rather than joining to another team in Spain, making Chelsea the favourites for his signature.

Jose Mourinho is reportedly ready to sanction a move which would see Turan earn £150,000 per week with the Premier League champions.
