Young Chelsea midfielder Tom Taiwo says he would like to remain at Carlisle United but only if manager Greg Abbott wants him there.

The 19-year old is on loan at the League One club until the end of December but says he would like to hang around and develop his game further in a bid to make his way in Chelsea's first team eventually.

"What happens with me next is all about what happens with the manager," Taiwo told the News & Star.

"He has been really good for my development and put a lot of faith in me.

"He is the key reason as to whether I stay or go."

Taiwo has yet to make his Chelsea debut but has made 26 appearances since landing at Brunton Park.
