Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel has confirmed Thiago Silva will miss the first leg of their Champions League tie with Atletico Madrid.
Silva has missed Chelsea's last four games due to injury, and will not travel to face Atleti in Bucharest on Tuesday.
"He is not available," Tuchel said at a press conference on Monday. "He is training right now. We are leaving and he is not available."
But Tuchel did state that Kai Havertz and Christian Pulisic have been included in the travelling party.
"Very happy that both of them are in the group," Tuchel said.
"They trained with us, no complaints, and they travel with us."
