Chelsea manager Mauricio Pochettino has responded to comments by defender Ben Chilwell.
The left-back spoke about the team's lack of desire after they lost 4-2 to Wolves in the Premier League.
However, his Argentine head coach has clarified the intent behind Chilwell's statements.
He stated: “When you listen, Chilly didn't say that. We didn't win, it was 50-50, they won. That was my interpretation."
He then added: “I was talking with Chilly and it was never the intention to say his team didn't show desire.
“The attitude of the players is always good. For different reasons we are not performing.
“We need to feel the trust of the coaching staff and the players."
