Chelsea have launched a bid for Bayer Leverkusen defender Piero Hincapie.

Sky Deutschland says Chelsea have made a €30m offer for Hincapie ahead of the January market.

Chelsea have turned to Hincapie after being frustrated by RB Leipzig's €100m valuation for Josko Gvardiol.

The 20 year-old Ecuador international has a deal with Bayer to 2026.

The youngster was part of his country's World Cup campaign.
