Chelsea are interested in PSG midfielder Leandro Paredes.

The Evening Standard says Chelsea are looking at alternatives to Brighton ace Moises Caicedo and new manager Mauricio Pochettino would like to bring in Paredes, 29, from Paris Saint-Germain .

Paredes, who was on loan at Juventus last season, has just one year left on his contract and PSG are ready to let him go for a relatively low transfer fee.

The Argentina international, who won the World Cup last winter, doesn't quite fit the profile of players Todd Boehly has banked on so far, but Pochettino wants to bring more experience into the squad, according to reports.
