Mauricio Pochettino is emerging as new favourite for the Chelsea manager job.
The former Tottenham boss has been a free agent since leaving PSG at the end of last season.
The Daily Mail says Pochettino has held TWO rounds of talks with Chelsea directors. The Argentine is living in London and keen to jump back into management.
He has been selective over which jobs he would consider during his break from the game and ideally wanted a club that would present him with a realistic opportunity of challenging for trophies.
Despite Chelsea's issues this season, Pochettino remains open to the Blue post.
Frank Lampard is currently in charge on a caretaker basis after the sacking of Graham Potter earlier this month.
