Chelsea left-back Ben Chilwell has apologised to his team-mates and the club's supporters this week.
Chilwell was given a red card for a tactical foul that he committed against Real Madrid in the Champions League quarter-final first leg on Wednesday.
The incident ended up costing Chelsea the game, as they were outplayed and lost 2-0 to Real on the night.
Taking to social media the next day, Chilwell stated: "Slept on it, and just want to apologise to my team mates and the fans. I made the decision in a split second last night and it was a mistake.
“I always give everything for the team and i will continue to do so. Thank you for the support *blue heart emoji*.
