Chelsea left-back Ben Chilwell has urged Mason Mount to stay at the club this summer.
The attacking midfielder only has one year remaining on his Blues contract, with contract negotiations at an impasse.
Mount, who is a boyhood Chelsea player, is said to prefer a move to Manchester United if he leaves the club.
While at the F1 Spanish Grand Prix with Mount, Chilwell told Sky Sports: "It's none of my business personally but he is my best mate so I would love him to stay."
His teammate Reece James has stated on the matter recently: "If he goes, everyone will be sad to see him go."
Mount himself told Sky at the F1 race when asked about the United rumors: "I am here to enjoy this race today, it's an amazing day and I cannot wait to watch it."
