Real Madrid have contacted Chelsea about the prospect of signing Eden Hazard this summer.

Hazard has continued to stall on signing a new deal with the west London club, and in the past has referred to a potential move to Madrid as a "dream".

If the 28-year-old refuses to pen an extension, Chelsea will be make a move this summer or risk losing him on a free transfer.

At this stage Chelsea would not be able to sign a replacement for Hazard due to a recent transfer ban from FIFA.

However, the club have appealed the decision, which will see them unable to sign players over the next two transfer windows.
