Chelsea face a new Real Madrid raid, with the Spanish giants keen on landing N'Golo Kante.

Real management are planning a swap deal involving James Rodriguez, says El Desmarque.

Chelsea are showing fresh interest in the Colombian having previously courted the idea of signing him before he went to Bayern Munich.

The website also claims that Kante is one of Zinedine Zidane's 'dream' signings as an ideal fit to cover the defensive side of Madrid's midfield.

Madrid had tried to offload Rodriguez in the summer but despite his resurgence are still willing to listen to offers for the 28-year-old.

Although Chelsea are keen, it is thought that rival clubs are also tracking Rodriguez.
