Chelsea are eyeing Corinthians striker Paulo Guerrero. The Daily Star says Chelsea have been told to cough up £30m if they want to sign Guerrero next month.

The Blues have opened talks to sign the 28-year-old Peruvian, who scored the winner against them in the Club World Cup final.

But his Brazilian club insist he will not come cheap - with Atletico Madrid, Juventus and Fiorentina also in the running.

Guerrero only cost Corinthians £3m when he joined them from Hamburg in July after an unspectacular spell at Bayern Munich.

But his asking price has skyrocketed after he crowned a big season in Brazil with his heroics against Chelsea in Japan.
