Chelsea are eyeing AC Milan striker Krzysztof Piatek for the January market.
Gazzetta dello Sport says Chelsea could make a winter market move for Piatek if their transfer ban is overturned.
The Polish striker has not made the best start under new coach Marco Giampaolo this season, while Blues boss Frank Lampard is looking for a player to alternate with Tammy Abraham, considering the struggles of Olivier Giroud and Michy Batshuayi.
Piatek has netted just one goal in his last nine competitive appearances for the Rossoneri.
He joined Milan in January, arriving in a €35million deal from Genoa.
