Chelsea are reportedly set to hold talks with Paris Saint Germain striker Ezequiel Lavezzi about a potential move to Stamford Bridge.

The Daily Mail is reporting the 30-year-old's representatives will meet with the London club on Thursday to discuss the possibility of him joining the Blues when he becomes a free agent at the end of the season.

Inter Milan are understood to be the frontrunners for the Argentine's signature but Alessandro Moggi, who works alongside Lavezzi's agent Alejandro Mazzoni, recently indicated Chelsea are also in contention.

"Inter are the most interested team at the moment," Moggi said.

"There was interest from Barcelona and Chelsea, and we're talking with the Blues.

"I can't rule out him only leaving Paris at the end of the season though, as Paris Saint-Germain have expressed an interest in keeping him."
