Chelsea are delaying sale plans for Kurt Zouma.

The defender spent last season on-loan with Everton.

Goal says Chelsea are now waiting to appoint their new manager before a decision will be made on Zouma's future.

Blues legend Frank Lampard is expected to be unveiled as Maurizio Sarri's successor this week.

He remains in talks with Chelsea over the position after being excused from pre-season training by current club Derby.

And Everton will be hoping that Lampard deems Zouma surplus to requirements at Stamford Bridge, should he take the job.
