Chelsea centre half Levi Colwill has agreed a new six-year deal with the Premier League club.
The young defender had been linked with a move away from the club after a loan spell at Brighton.
While the Albion and other teams wanted to bring him in permanently, he has now committed to the Blues.
Colwill, per The Sun and other sources, has been given assurances about game time at the Stamford Bridge club.
New boss Mauricio Pochettino sees him as a cornerstone of his team in the near future.
He claimed during pre-season that Colwill can become England's best defender.
