Chelsea defender Wesley Fofana has taken the next step in his ACL recovery.
Fofana underwent knee surgery over the summer and is yet to even train under new manager Mauricio Pochettino.
But in a boost, he has updated fans on social media with news that he has begun running again.
Fofana has been doing his rehab at Chelsea's Cobham complex, where he has been in the gym daily.
Pochettino has stated a hope that Fofana will play this season: "I hope yes. You know very well because you have all of the information that this is difficult. The problem after is that it's a different situation.
"He is evolving in a different way but hopefully, everything went well his recovery goes very well and as soon as possible he can be back."
