Chelsea defender Wesley Fofana was delighted to prove the matchwinner against Leeds yesterday.

Fofana struck the only goal of the game to ease the pressure on manager Graham Potter.

He later said, "I feel good, I scored today, the team won and a clean sheet. A very good day.

"Yesterday in training we worked on set-pieces and today I scored one. It's a good feeling.

"The timing of the run was good. I worked on that.

"Not nerves but excitement for the win, the fans and the club. It is a difficult situation but everyone in the club pushes for a win.

"It's not a problem. Every player is an attacker or a defender. Today it is me but in other games, every player can score.

"I hope so. Just push, work and try to win every game. That's it."
