Chelsea are cutting loose defender Jake Clarke-Salter.

CoventryLive is reporting Chelsea will not exercise the option of another year for the 24-year-old.

The decision means Clarke-Salter will be out of contract at the end of this month.

After spending this season on loan with the Sky Blues, they are keen to make his stay at the Ricoh Arena a permanent one while Sheffield United, PSV and Club Brugge have also been linked.
