Chelsea have lined up a first loanee for new satellite club Strasbourg.

Chelsea's umbrella company BlueCo completed the takeover of the Ligue 1 club a fortnight ago.

TMW says Chelsea are now in advanced talks to sign Santos wing-back Angelo Gabriel. A deal worth an initial €18m is close to being struck.

Once this transfer has been completed, the London club will in turn loan the young Brazilian to Strasbourg for the 2023-24 season.
