Chelsea's directors have paid tribute to Mason Mount after his sale to Manchester United was confirmed yesterday.
Mount left his formative club for a fee rising to £60m.
The England midfielder won consecutive Player of the Year awards in 2021 and 2022 at Chelsea.
In a short statement, Blues chairman Todd Boehly and co-controlling owners Behdad Eghbali and Jose E. Feliciano said: "We want to thank Mason for all his efforts on and off the pitch throughout his time at Chelsea.
"He is a consummate professional who will be remembered fondly for his time with the Club."
