Chelsea can snap up Hamburg midfield schemer Rafael van der Vaart for just £1 million in 18 months' time.
Tuttosport says as part of his current contract, Van der Vaart's buyout clause drops to just £1 million in 2009.
Hamburg are anxious to redraw the agreement.
