Chelsea boss Tuchel talks 'respectful' Fofana; Aubameyang arrival

Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel insists Wesley Fofana didn't seek to insult Leicester City as he changed clubs.

Fofana's move to Chelsea drew criticism from Foxes manager Brendan Rodgers, with the defender hitting back through social media.

Tuchel said: "Wesley was reliable in what he said to me and he did not disrespect Leicester. He saw a chance for himself and an opportunity to convince Leicester to let him come to us. In the very end it happened, but towards me he was a very respectful person."

On Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang's arrival from Barcelona, Tuchel also said: "Auba is happy to fight for challenges so if he wants to take the number nine shirt or he wants to show people in London he is better than they think, then all the better.

"I know he is a very focussed person with an open heart who is happy to be on the pitch every day. He is up for any challenge and he is happy to be on the pitch and score goals."
