Chelsea boss Maurizio Sarri insists Mateo Kovacic is a better fit than N'Golo Kante as cover for Jorginho.

Sarri was pleased with their 5-0 win over Huddersfield.

Jorginho came off with groin problem and was replaced by Kovacic as Kante remained in his more forward role.

“Kovacic is really close to Jorginho in moving the ball very fast, one touch," said Sarri.

“In the future, he will be able to play this position well and Jorginho will be able to rest."
