Chelsea boss Potter full of praise for Terzic ahead of BVB clash

Chelsea boss Graham Potter has commented glowingly on Edin Terzic's career so far.

The German-Croatian coach, who is only 40 years old, is in charge of Borussia Dortmund at present.

The German giants are impressing this term, sitting in third place in the Bundesliga, three points away from top spot.

Speaking ahead of the two teams facing off in the Champions League on Wednesday, Potter stated: “It doesn't surprise me because my first impressions of him were very positive.

“Really humble guy, very intelligent, articulate, open-minded, creative, everything you want in a coach, he has those attributes. If you look at his career, he's had a variety of experiences in different places, done lots of different roles, so there is a nice mix of both things.

"Then you can see the quality of work he has done recently, since the break, Dortmund have had a fantastic run. They are a really organized team that attack well, defend well, and have good individuals within there. So he's doing a fantastic job and I'm pleased for him. Obviously, I want to make it difficult for him in the next couple of games but after that I wish him well."
